 Today in class we talk about change of plans and the use of the verbs was/would

"What are some plans you had to change because of the pandemic?"

My plans were to study medicine in Argentina, but when the pandemic started those plans changed

Tell us about a plan or intention you had in the past but changed, and why it changed.

Before (when I was younger) I wanted to get married and have a family like the one my parents had, now that I've grown up, I realized that these plans are not consistent with the lifestyle that being a doctor demands, and that it is a very big responsibility that I do not want to assume.

How did you imagine your life at this age?

 When I was younger I imagined my life just as it is now, studying to be a doctor, traveling with my friends and enjoying my youth.
